These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Guess Or Boom mobile application (the "App"). By accessing or using Guess Or Boom, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of the App.
1. About Guess Or Boom
Guess Or Boom is a casual trivia game designed to make guessing, learning, and competing fun. The App offers features such as:
- Draw & Guess: Watch an animated drawing appear stroke by stroke and choose the correct answer from two options.
- Real-Time 1v1 Battles: Compete against other players in live trivia matches.
- Special Events: Participate in in-game activities and challenges for virtual rewards.
We may introduce, modify, or remove features as the App evolves.
2. Eligibility
You must meet the minimum age requirements applicable in your country or region and comply with the rules of the platform through which you access the App. If you are under the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, you must obtain parental or legal guardian permission where required by law. You agree to use Guess Or Boom only in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
3. Acceptable Use
When using Guess Or Boom, you agree not to:
- Use cheats, scripts, bots, or unauthorized automation tools to manipulate gameplay.
- Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities to obtain unfair advantages or rewards.
- Interfere with real-time battles, matchmaking systems, servers, or network operations.
- Use unauthorized tools to modify gameplay data or match results.
- Engage in fraudulent, unlawful, or abusive activities.
- Infringe upon the intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights of others.
- Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit App content without authorization, except where permitted by applicable law.
If you violate these Terms, we may take reasonable action, including reversing improperly obtained rewards, restricting features, or suspending access to the App.
4. Trivia and Gameplay Rules
Guess Or Boom provides trivia questions primarily for entertainment purposes. We strive to provide accurate and engaging content, but we do not guarantee that every question, answer, audio clip, or animated drawing will be completely free from errors. Certain game modes may include time limits, scoring rules, accuracy tracking, or other gameplay conditions. We may adjust questions, difficulty levels, scoring systems, and reward mechanisms to maintain game balance and improve the user experience.
5. Real-Time 1v1 Battles
Guess Or Boom offers real-time trivia battles between players. Players may be matched with other users through the App's matchmaking system. During a match, players may see necessary gameplay information, including answer progress, scores, and match results. You agree to compete fairly and not use cheating tools, intentionally disrupt connections, or exploit technical vulnerabilities to manipulate match outcomes. Network latency, disconnections, or technical errors may affect the battle experience. We may address abnormal match results in accordance with reasonable game rules and adjust matchmaking, battle mechanics, and rewards where permitted by applicable law.
6. Game Points and Virtual Rewards
Guess Or Boom may offer points, in-game items, event rewards, and other virtual content. Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Virtual items are intended for use within the App only.
- Virtual rewards do not represent real-world currency or property rights.
- Virtual items may not be sold, traded, or transferred outside the App.
- Users may not obtain virtual rewards through cheating or exploitation.
- Reward availability and requirements may change based on game features or event rules.
If a particular reward involves cash redemption, withdrawals, or other real-world benefits, additional terms and conditions will be provided.
7. In-App Purchases
The App may offer in-app purchases ("IAP") such as virtual currency, items, or premium features.
- Payment Processing: All IAPs on the iOS platform are processed entirely by Apple via the App Store. By making an IAP, you agree to Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. We do not directly collect or store your payment information (e.g., credit card details).
- Final Sales and Refunds: All IAPs are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policy. Virtual items cannot be exchanged for real-world money. Any refund requests must be directed to Apple Customer Support.
- Subscriptions (If applicable): If the App offers auto-renewing subscriptions, your Apple ID account will be charged upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time in your App Store Account Settings.
- Minors: If you are under the age of legal majority, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission to make any in-app purchases.
8. Advertisements and Rewarded Ads
Guess Or Boom may display third-party advertisements, including rewarded video ads. Certain advertisements may offer optional in-game virtual rewards upon successful completion. Ad availability may depend on factors such as:
- Internet connectivity.
- Device compatibility.
- Geographic location.
- Advertising partner availability.
- Technical or service conditions.
We do not guarantee that specific advertisements will always be available. Rewards may not be granted if an advertisement is not completed, reward verification fails, or a technical error occurs. Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable law.
9. Special Events
Guess Or Boom may periodically introduce special events, limited-time challenges, and other activities. Events may have eligibility requirements, participation periods, reward conditions, and additional rules. Specific event terms will be provided within the relevant event interface. We may modify, postpone, or cancel events within reasonable limits, subject to applicable laws and consumer rights.
10. Intellectual Property
All content associated with Guess Or Boom, including its software, interface, animations, illustrations, game characters, audio, text, trademarks, and other materials, is owned by us or our respective licensors, except where otherwise indicated. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, or commercially exploit App content without appropriate authorization, except as permitted by applicable law.
11. Service Availability and Changes
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue features for reasons including maintenance, security, technical improvements, or operational requirements. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where practicable or legally required. We may restrict access when necessary to address serious violations of these Terms, fraud, or security risks. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
Guess Or Boom is provided primarily for entertainment purposes and should not be considered a professional educational, examination, or advisory service. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or network environment. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
14. Updates to These Terms
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in our services, operational practices, or legal obligations. Updated Terms will be made available within the App or on an applicable official page, together with a revised effective date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute relating to the App or these Terms will be resolved in accordance with applicable laws and jurisdictional requirements, without limiting mandatory consumer protection rights.
